La clase de cocina en Phuket Thai Cooking by VJ tiene un ambiente de estilo acogedor y amigable.
No solo observas, sino que también participas en la cocina de platos tailandeses tradicionales.
Enseñamos y le permitimos hacer su propia pasta de curry desde cero usando Motar y Maja (sin MSG y sin comprar ya comprados en el mercado)
También como parte de nuestra cocina, visitamos el mercado local (sesiones de la mañana) para aprender sobre las frutas y verduras exóticas locales. Siempre hay una abundancia de cosas nuevas para ver y probar.

VJ was a really lovely teacher. We learnt how to make Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry and Mango Sticky rice all from scratch. I really enjoyed learning how to make my own green curry paste. I also loved visiting the markets and trying new foods I’d never seen before. It’s a worth while experience and worth every cent. Thank you for having me.

It was amazing from beginning until the end. The tour through the local market, the description of the dishes, the cooking process, communication, everything! An amazing experience, truly a must for Phuket visitors! Even if you don’t cook too often, this is a great opportunity to try top notch thai dishes, which you have made yourself.

What a great experience. VJ is a great instructor and the facility is first class. We were picked up on time at our resort and returned afterwards. The market tour was informative. For the actual class, the food prep was fun as was the cooking. We each had our own cooking station and food prep area. The food we made was delicious. Warning - be prepared to eat a lot of delicious food.

Our family of four (with children ages 7 and 9) recently had a very nice afternoon with VJ and her staff. My wife and I have been to Thailand many times, but this experience was a first for our children.
We started with pick up at our hotel and a tour around the local market. We got to taste many things as we walked around, and VJ gave a lot of information about the foods we were seeing. We had a bit of time to look around and make purchases on our own before heading to the kitchen facilities.
The set up was fun and community oriented (we were 4 of about 16 in the class). VJ had a staff of people to facilitate the activities, and it all went along well - we were never lost. Our children were very involved with the process, and the staff were really good about helping us to fill in gaps as we did ours and helped our children.
In the end, it was really fun and well run. Our children had a good time and a positive experience cooking. The rest of the class was a friendly and interactive bunch, which made the afternoon that much better. I would recommend this for singles, couples, and families.

VJ’s class was a pleasure to attend! The impeccable prep, the delightful team, yummy food, the willingness to answer all questions.

If you love Thai food, you have to do this class! Come hungry because you’ll get to eat each dish right after you cook it. And do the morning market! This was one of our favourite days spent in Phuket. Highly recommend this as an informative, fun, and cultural experience to anyone who loves to eat! Chef VJ is awesome and has created a very smoothly run program that keeps everyone busy cooking and eating. Efficient, professional, fun, informative, delicious. Now when we eat from Thai restaurants we say, “Good, but I’ve cooked better.” Thank you so much Chef VJ!

Amazing Hands On Thai Cooking Class

Our family loved doing this as it was a great opportunity to actually cook and then eat our own Thai meal! Honestly it was the one of the best meals we had while in Thailand!! VJ and her team made everything so easy as well as cleaned up after us, so we could focus on enjoying the experience. Loved that we got the recipes and pictures of the ingredients so we can replicate the meals when we got home (which we did!!) We also had the opportunity to purchase the "hard to find" ingredients - which I really appreciated!

Great experience that I would recommend to everyone! We started with a tour of the local market and tasted fruit grown in Thailand. The cooking class was great! We prepared 3 dishes each one was perfect! At the end we got served sticky rice with mango which was one of the best desserts I ever tasted!

we learned to make some delicious food! we did a tour on the market and tried new fruits. afterwards we prepared mango sticky rice for dessert, cooked tom yum soup, pad thai, green and red curry. it was fun, thank you VJ :)
