This is a must book company! Everybody is super nice and willing to meet your desires. Alex is a standout tour guide! We booked with this company twice in one week. We had a group of 14 and the tour was made with our desires in mind. The guides are knowledgeable, safe and welcoming. Shaun the owner was SUPER responsive and accommodating so don’t hesitate to send an email.
SUPERB ISLAND HOPPING EXPERIENCE TRULY 5 STARS

We wanted to go island hopping as a couple of us hadn’t been to Phuket and the rest hadn’t done this in a while. We researched and looked through many recommendations and reviews we finally settled on 5 STAR MARINE and it was the best decision ever. We were picked up from the hotel in a huge clean minivan that sat 5 comfortably - could easily take 8-10 pax. On arrival, spew were greeted by our guide Alex who went though the rules as well as showed us the route for the islands. The speedboat was pristine clean and super comfortable and the other two crew members were helpful with really cheerful dispositions. I appreciated the constant updates about routes, the weather as well as a history of the many islands and lagoons. Alex is super knowledgeable and extremely efficient. He taught the newbies how to snorkel patiently explaining the steps and ensuring that we were comfortable with the equipment. He stayed with the novices ensuring safety. When we visited a lagoon that was accessible through caves, he allayed my fears holding my hand and explaining what I was seeing and frankly I would not have made the journey through a dark cave and walking in water without Alex’s comforting strong presence. Lunch was fabulous at a local restaurant on another island - the food was really good. Fresh seafood delicious curries and well cooked. And cheap! Alex ensured that we saw all we wanted and we visited at least 4-5 islands ending the day with a peaceful kayaking sojourn into lagoons and really enjoying the sea and wildlife and nature. A really big shout out to Alex and crew for a fabulous island hopping cruise. Great crew. Clean speedboat. Perfect time. I cannot recommend this private cruise enough. It really was worth every penny. And. Sent back to hotel safely and efficiently at day end. Well done 5 STAR MARINE!

From the booking to the trip itself, we were just so blessed.

1) the boat so clean and well maintained
2) the crew was attentive even when we were drying our towels and shawls, they helped to clip them so that they won’t be blown away
3) when it drizzled, they were so proactive, wiping the seats dry
4) they were so assuring and updated us on weather and our comfort level
5) they brought us to small hidden caves and lagoons, and held my sister’s hand and guided her slowly and safely about
6) esp Alex, thank you for towing my sister and I to and fro the boat to the lagoon
We had the most amazing lunch, thanks for the recommendation.
Lastly, we really thank you and the crew for bringing us safely back too, weather was stormy at some points.

We found 5 Start through a friend, and it was perfect for our family of 7! Alex and the other two crew members were incredible guides, and Alex was so amazing with all of us, especially our little kids. He made sure the kids had a great experience snorkeling and even guided them around the water. He took us through caves and into lagoons, and he was so attentive to what we wanted. Our expectations were absolutely exceeded. Don't miss out on the chance to have 5 Star and Alex show you around!

This was our 3rd boat trip in the phuket Islands and have had some experience on what to look out for.
5star marine are brilliant. I was in contact with 3 providers for quotes and suggestions and Sean stood out with his suggestions, YouTube content and pricing. Very happy I went with them:

I liked the fact that they didn't take a cut to organise lunch but suggested restaurants at phi phi Don.
Jimmy our guide was amazing. Super helpful
These guys even took photos and send them to you after the event at no extra charge.
We were the first tourist boat to get to phi phi and that was a highlight in itself.
Seriously, save yourself the time and just go with these guys

Amazing personalised private tour

Wow! We had the most awesome day on a private speedboat tour with Alex as our guide. Shaun tailored the itinerary perfectly for us - adding a snorkeling stop & timing it to avoid crowds. They even brought a couple of kayaks on the boat so we could get into caves & hongs that wouldn’t normally be accessible.
Alex knew all the best spots and we often were the only ones there, or very few others. We saw many folks rush in & out while we got to enjoy the beauty of each location.
Alex and the crew were absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t rate them high enough.

Shaun was amazing from beginning to end. We hired the private boat to take us around all day and specifically wanting to see the bioluminescene planktons and we were not disappointed!!! It was an amazing day going to Phi Phi Island, an amazing lunch place, James Bond for sunset and even took us to this island with a walk through the cave to the center of this island ending with the bioluminescene planktons on a canoe ride. It was an amazing and unforgettable day!

We booked a private trip for six adults for the James Bond Island tour (and other highlights).
The booking process was great and 5 star kept in touch leading up to the event.
We were allocated a large speedboat with plenty of room, complete with our guide (Kong) and 2 other crew.
We had a discussion around what we wanted to do and the staff did everything to make our day special.
It was also great to avoid the bigger tour boats and go off the 'beaten track' at times as well.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked another trip a few days later.
I've used other companies in Phuket before but, 5 star were by far the most professional and would recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.

An ABSOLUTE must-do

As a writer, it is rare that I am at a loss for words, but yet, I am finding it hard to come up with some to describe how incredible this experience was. My family (husband, two kids, and I) spent three weeks in Thailand and this was by far one of our favourite days. Having a private tour made visiting the different islands even more incredible than (we are sure) it would've already been. Our guide, Phi, was absolutely amazing, and so was the rest of the crew. We felt like V.I.P.s the entire day. From the time I first inquired about a tour, up until we were dropped at our hotel at the end of the day, the staff (including the owner, Shawn), the itinerary, the kindness, the professionalism, was nothing short of perfect. Thank you 5 Star Marine for a 10 STAR experience. I highly recommend this to anyone traveling through Phuket.
