James Bond island was as breath taking as expected. Lots of market stalls, toilets and things to see.
Lunch was great, the floating village lived up to expectations. It was so big, so many smells and more places to spend your baht.
Finishing up at the private beach for a couple of beers and more relaxing.
Bad points for me were no snorkelling and no mangrove tour. Not sure if I’d read the tour description correctly so could’ve been expecting something that wasn’t included.
Otherwise loads of water, coke and squash! Loads of information along the way.
I had badly twisted my knee slipping on the tiled floor in the rain at the hotel and I was worried I couldn’t do parts of the trip but I was looked after greatly. Probably the hardest thing was getting out of the canoe.
I could not recommend this enough. Well worth the money. You will see things you’ve never seen before and you can count how many times you’ll say wow!!!!
We took the speed boat + canoe option which was a good decision. First of all we visited the caves at Thalu Island and then canoeing at Hong Island. through the limestone caves and mangrove forests.
A delicious lunch on the floating village - Koh Panyee and then to the highlight of James Bond Island - Phang Nga Bay. We finished at a beautiful private island (sorry forgot it’s name) before heading back to the marina. Alex, our guide, was fun and friendly. This tour was amazing and had enough time at each stop to admire the beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this tour.
